We are very pleased to present the 2007 Safety, Health, Environmental and Fire Prevention (SHEF) Report which follows on from the change in style in 2006 which proved to be a great success with our readers.
Again our aim was not only to publish our environmental and safety targets but to talk about the excellent work that goes on here at Aylesford Newsprint.
This includes the successful head box upgrade that took place in November; not only a mammoth engineering task, but one which affected the whole company in terms of logistics and the day to day running of the company and which once again confirmed the team spirit and community that saw the project successfully completed and brought in on budget and within the time schedule.
We hope that you enjoy reading this report and hopefully you will gain an insight into what we do and how we do it.
We take very seriously our commitment to safety and the environment; and our work is on going to maintain the high standards and targets that have been achieved. We are also very proud of the important and valued relationships enjoyed with our customers, throughout the U.K. and Western Europe.
