An invitation to participate in a selection activity will lead to some or all of the following:
Half or full day assessment centre with a number of candidates for the same job.
Pencil and paper tests of basic abilities such as numeracy, literacy and problem solving.
Structured interviews based on competencies required in the job.
Team activities or discussions.
A second in-depth interview stage focusing on technical abilities and fit with other team members.
Selection is a two-way process and it is as important for the candidate as it is for the company to ensure that the person and the job are right for each other. We recommend that candidates come to their assessment and interviews fully prepared to ask questions and to find out about the company, our people and the job.
Recruiting new people to join our organisation is one of the most important things we do and so we operate a thorough and challenging selection process.
